  My Whiskey
Hey folks, the comment I made about trading Whiskey for a draft horse to make my hiney look smaller was only a joke. I thought when I put (just kidding) people would know that it was a joke. Even when I was a skinny little girl, I have always had a posterior that was (ahem) out of proportion to my body. I have been teased all my life with names like "bubble". When Peggy saw the bumper sticker about trading for a draft horse, I openly stole it from her.

Just to set the record straight, there is no way I would trade that horse. He is what I have dreamed of and more than I thought could have been possible. Our bonding is growing in leaps and bounds. As a ranch horse, he has been taught to do a "job". Getting rubbed for no reason is something they do not receive. He gets plenty of that now and is learning to love and trust it. I cannot imagine there being enough money to buy him from me or any horse for which I would trade.

I love my Whiskey...the four legged one!!

My love to all;
Edie

Hildagard,When you first posted that you were trading horses,Danette asked me if you were really trading. I told her it would have to be a mighty big horse to make THAT hinney look small.LOL. Anyway, I hope you got the brakes fixed yesterday. Be careful and we are praying for Ya'll. we love you,kenny & danette

Hey Sis, I can amen that big posterior comment!!It would make a Clydedale look like a Shetland pony :-). At any rate, which state are you in. Victoria doesn't tell me much. I'm leaving SC on 3/26 to drive out to Nevada, and thought I might arrange my trip to catch up with you late that week if I can get a fix on exactly where you are. I have passed the word to some friends to keep a check on you.

I can't help but agree, it's open season on Edie's hydraulics. We just hope Whiskey isn't folding under the pressure, LOL.
Edie, it's a BIG relief to hear Whiskey is so reliable. History tells us that Whiskey and highways don't mix, but he's carried you safely so far. I've got faith in him for the rest of the way and I'm sure you do, too. We love hearing stories about the horses.
Ride safe,
Peg

Edie,

I knew you loved Whiskey from the beginning! I am glad he's taking care of you, and you are taking care of him.

I hope your journey will just get easier, we are all thinking about you.

Be careful and say hello to everyone :)

PS - Maybe you will ride your hiney off by the time you get to the East Coast....

Love,
Sherry, Charlie and the kids...
